The CAM Academy Trust

Uniform

At Godmanchester Community Academy, our uniform helps create a sense of pride, belonging and equality. We want all children to feel part of our school community, but we also recognise that school uniform should never become a financial burden for families.

Branded uniform is available from Price & Buckland, but branded items are entirely optional. Most uniform can be purchased from supermarkets and high street retailers, and we encourage families to choose the most affordable option that meets our expectations.

We also maintain a large stock of good-quality pre-loved uniform. Regular sales are held throughout the year, and families are welcome to contact the school at any time if they require specific items. We are committed to ensuring that every child has access to suitable school uniform regardless of family circumstances.

  • One pair of small plain stud earrings
  • A simple analogue or digital watch (no smartwatches or fitness trackers)

Make-up and nail varnish should not be worn.

Labelling Property

Please label all clothing, footwear and equipment with your child's name. This helps us return lost property quickly and reduces unnecessary replacement costs for families.

Our PTA has partnered with Stikins name labels. Stikins labels can be used on clothing, shoes, lunchboxes, water bottles and other school items, making it easy to keep belongings clearly labelled.

Labels can be ordered at www.stikins.co.uk. When placing an order, please use our school fundraising number 8084. Stikins will donate 30% of every purchase made using this code back to the school, helping to fund resources and opportunities that benefit all of our children.
