Year 6 Debate at Pathfinder House, Civic Offices
On 11th November, Year 6 visited Pathfinder House in Huntingdon and held several debates.
The Executive Leader of Huntingdonshire District Council Cllr Robin Howe and the Chairman Cllr Peter Bucknell were met by Y6 children at Pathfinder House. Year 6 were given the opportunity to carry out a debate in the civic suite. The first debate was "should SATs tests be abolished?" and then "should children have to wear school uniform?". The children were given the chance to put across their views and then vote for or against the argument. Y6 enjoyed the experience and were commended on their good behaviour.
