EIFA January Newsletter and Whats On.

We are pleased to share the latest family support information from the Local Authority, provided by Katie Smith, Education Inclusion Family Advisor within the Education Directorate.

Attached is Katie’s monthly newsletter for families, along with details of the workshops available this half term. Due to the wide range of support on offer, workshops are spread across January and February, with two posters outlining all sessions. This includes several evening workshops, added in response to requests from families who are unable to attend during the daytime.

Families can also access an online drop-in service, offering short 30-minute appointments. These sessions are ideal for those who would like brief advice, signposting, or an informal chat rather than ongoing support. Families who have booked a face-to-face drop-in will receive confirmation in a separate email.

Also attached is the latest What’s On guide for local Child and Family Centres, highlighting additional support and activities available in the community this month.

For further information, families may wish to contact Katie Smith, Education Inclusion Family Advisor (Local Authority) on 07388 371257.
