The poem is titled 'Together' (pictured above)
After listening to Matt perform the poem, I asked the children to suggest a line of their own, here are some of their ideas:
Together we can do anything
Together we are friends
Together we are invisible
Together we are community
Together we are strong

We also discussed the importance of connections and how we can make connections with others.
As always, the children shared lots of thoughtful suggestions and shared how much their friends, family and community mean to them.

We are looking forward to focusing more on 'Let's Connect' with the children throughout the week.
