The children have enjoyed reading and learning the story of Hansel and Gretel.  As part of their learning the children have been thinking about and practising using questions words.  The witch's visit was the perfect opportunity for the children to write and ask questions.  

Thankfully the witch didn't stay for too long and she seemed impressed by the questions our Year 1 pupils asked her.
